President

David Pearson serves as President of the company his father started in 1969. Since 1985, Dave’s input and direction are instrumental to the maintenance of the company’s standard of excellence. His initial training in Electrical Design gives him a thorough understanding of the Electrical and Mechanical Interface requirements in the Engineering disciplines. Conceptualizing Building Systems and Costs are specialty areas where his abilities excel. Dave earned his Bachelor of Science, in Mechanical Engineering Degree from Northern Arizona University in 1978.

Jeff Ruthstrom, PE

Executive Vice President

Jeff Ruthstrom joined Pearson Engineering Associates, Inc. in 1995, bringing with him expertise in HVAC Systems Design, Plumbing Systems Design and Process Piping Systems Design. Jeff has 29 years of industry experience and serves as Executive Vice President of the company. His duties include Mechanical Production and Administrative Management. Jeff has been involved with major Commercial High-rise, Industrial, Healthcare, Educational and Military projects. Jeff received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University in 1990.

Bob Willcoxson, PE

Senior Vice President

Bob Willcoxson joined Pearson Engineering Associates, Inc. in 2015 and has 39 years industry experience. Bob is a registered Mechanical Engineer, LEED AP and Serves as Senior Vice President of the company. He has extensive experience in Educational, Retail, Municipal, Commercial, Institutional, and Governmental projects.

Jeff Mostajabi, PE

Jeff Mostajabi has been with Pearson Engineering Associates, Inc. for 16 years. Jeff is a registered Electrical Engineer in numerous states. Jeff serves as a Senior Vice President of the company. His experience includes Commercial, Retail, Municipal, Education, and Industrial projects. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma University in 1984.

Mike Pearson, PE

Vice President

Mike Pearson serves as Vice President of Pearson Engineering Associates, Inc. Mike is a registered Electrical Engineer whose 50 year career has included positions as a Field Project Engineer and Operations Manager for Electrical Contracting Companies, Industrial Plant Engineer, Commissioning Agent, Forensic Specialist and Power Electronics Inventor. His experience includes a wide variety of projects including Multi-family, High-tech Industrial, Healthcare, and Commercial. Mike earned is Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Arizona State University in 1979.

Mike Olson, FASPE

Senior Associate

Mike Olson has been with Pearson Engineering Associates, Inc. for 23 years and has 45 years total experience in Plumbing Systems Design. His design experiences include Medical Gas Systems, High Pressure Steam Systems, and many Specialty Piping System Designs. Mike serves as the Senior Plumbing Designer for the company. Mike is a Certified Plumbing Designer (C.P.D) and a “Fellow” ASPE member who has been actively involved with the organization both locally and nationally for many years. Mike received his Associate of Arts Degree for North Dakota State School of Science and Technology in 1970.

Larry Robertson,

Senior Associate

Larry Robertson has been with Pearson Engineering for 26 years and has 39 years total experience in Electrical Design. Larry serves as a Senior Electrical Designer for the firm. His experience has included Healthcare Facilities, Airport Airfield Lighting Systems, Aviation Aids, Airport Administration Areas, and Military projects. Larry is an ICBO Certified Electrical Inspector and received his Associate Degree in Applied Science Technical Design and Drafting from Phoenix College in 1980.

Jim Kilfoyle,

Associate

Jim Kilfoyle joined Pearson Engineering Associates, Inc. in 2006. He brings with him over 50 years of field and design expertise as a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer in HVAC systems, steam and refrigeration systems, and process piping systems. Over his long career, Jim has been involved with major municipal, educational, industrial, healthcare, and commercial high-rise projects.

Bret Biller,

Associate

Bret Hiller joined Pearson Engineering Associates, Inc. in 2019 and has 39 years in Mechanical Systems Design. Bret serves as a Senior Mechanical Designer for the firm. His experience has included project design and management and construction administration, including rooftop package systems, split system designs, variable and constant volume chilled water air handling systems, chilled water central plants, and boiler water systems projects.
